Zealandia : 8th continent of the earth

There are eight continent on the earth.

Zealandia, also known as the New Zealand continent or Tasmantis, is an almost entirely submerged mass of continental crest that subsided after breaking away from Gondwanaland 83–79 million years ago.

 →Scientists confirmed the existence of an eighth continent, called Zealandia, under New Zealand and the surrounding ocean in 2017.

→There are almost 93% of Zealandia's 2million square miles are underwater, so mapping of 

 the continent is challenging.

→Scientists just released map that show zealandia in unprecented details, reveal it's shape and how it was formed a millions year ago.

New maps reveal details about the size and shape of Earth's lost 8th continent, Zealandia, which disappeared under the Pacific Ocean.

Only 6 to 7% continent is above sea level.

GNS science in New Zealand announced that they had mapped it's shape and size of the continent in unprecedented detail.

They release it's map so, peoples can virtually explore the 8th continent of the earth .
