Covaxin : the first indigenous vaccine for covid-19

Covaxin :
Recently, drug controller general of India gives permission for clinical trials of covaxin.
It is the first vaccine for covid-19 developed in india .

This vaccine for covid-19 developed by a Hyderabad based biotech firm bhart biotech India limited in collaboration with   Indian council for medical research (icmr)  and  it's lab national institute of virology (NIV) .

→It is the inactivated vaccine use killed germ that cause of disease.
→There are NIV  (under ICMR) isolated a strain of the virus from asymptotic patient and transferred it to Bharat biotech India limited (BBil).

→It is the first  indigenous vaccine to get approval for clinical human trials.
→Human clinical trials are scheduled to start July 2020 in india.
