A visit to chittorgarh:-
the chittor fort is said to have been built by chitrananda
the guhila ruler bappa rawal is said to have captured the fort in either 728 CE or 734 CE
I go there on 10 october 2018 by rail from jaipur.

 HOW TO REACH :-
the chittor is well connected by rail and air.
the distance from jaipur is 390 km and 575 km from delhi.
it is nearer to jaipur international airport and udaipur airport ( udaipur is nearer but there is only domestic flights are available)
VISITING SITES IN FORT:-
1. GATES ( seven in number are - the paidal pole, bhairon pole, hanuman pole, ganessh pole, jorla pole, laxman pole, ram pole) - these gates are  built by mewar ruler RANA KUMBHA of the sisodiya clan.

 2. PADMINI PALACE - padmini palace is a palace ,where RANI padmini is lived after marriage with rawal ratan singh.

 3.kumbha mahal- it is situted in back side of banveer ki diwar and out
the badi pole , we can see a huge building that is kumbha mahal.
4. FATEH PRAKASH MAHAL:-IT is now converted into museum. there are a ticket to vivisit this museum is 20 Rs for indian adults and for foreigner price is 100 Rs per person.

5.VIJAY STAMBHA - ALSO called  JAYA STAMBHA ,built by maharana kumbha in the victory of malwa in 1440 AD. it is 9 story building.

6. KIRTI STAMBHA - it is a building of jain dharma cultural paintings.
these are digmbhara monuments.
7. MEERA TEMPLE- THIS TEMPLE is dedicated to lord KRISHANA  and his devotee meera bai ,
A saint-poet. her whole life is dedicated in worship of KRISHANA.
THE maharana KUMBHA built thtis temple in an ornate of INDO-ARYAN architecture style.
8. JAUHAR KUND -it is a palace where all the womens of the fort are sucide during the war. all mens of the fort go in war,
there are mainly three JAUHARS are done by RAJPUT WOMENS .
