who is padmini (queen of chittor) padmavati

padmini also known as padmavati, wasa legendary 13th -14th century indian queen .
the earliest source to mention her is PADMAVAT   an poem novel written by muhammad jayasi in 1540CE .
padmavati was an exceptionally beautiful princess of sri lanka .
RATAN singh, who was the king of chittor heard about her beauty from a taking parrot  HIRAMAN 
AFTER an adventurous quiz hewon her hand in marriage  and brought her to chittor .
Alauddin khalji , the sultan of delhi also heard about her beauty by a mewari  RAGHAV  CHETAN 
and laid siege to chittor to obtain her. many events occurred during the period of the siege ; till the fort was finally taken.

ratan singh was killed . before alaudin khalji could capture chittor , padmini and her companions ((16000 woman) committed jauhar (sellf -immolation) .
and after won war alaudin find in chittor fort only bones
