taj mahal : the most visited palace in india

taj mahal is the one in seven wonders of world .   
it is situated in agra   state - utra pradesh (up) india
it is built by mughal emperor saha jahan  for his love  wife begam mumtaz mahal in (1632 -1643)

              it is situated on south bankof yamuna river               
the taj mahal meaning crown of the palace
it`s height 73 m (240 ft) 

the taj mahal was designated as a UNESCO world haritage site in 1983 for being "the jewel of muslim art in india & one of the universally admired masterpices of the world haritage "

it is regarded by many as the best example of mughal architecture and a symbol of india`s rich history

it`s main architect was ustad ahmad lahauri
it is built by 20000 (20 thousand) artisans  under the guidens of board of architects led by court architect to emperor
it`s total estimated cost in 1653 was 32million rupees which in 2015 approximately 52.8 billion rupees
